Zombie Wabbits look like no other Bitcoin NFT. Even though they debuted a year ago, they are still easily distinguished from every other collection on the blockchain. Let's take a closer look. What Do Zombie Wabbits NFT’s Look Like? Zombie Wabbits #3 Zombie Wabbits are (mostly) center-facing GIF animated NFT's. Several images are repeatedly flashed in sequence with the message "I See Zombie Wabbits." All eleven of these rabbits don't look happy. While each particular token may vary in hue, sharpness and color scheme, they all show some really upset bunnies. In fact this particular image looks like someone dragged them on to an Atari 2600 screen and electrocuted them. Sounds a bit rough? Well, the artist intended this to be a "horrorverse" collection. In fact, here is a quote from their description on Byzantion: "...Zombie Wabbits have escaped from 'Çarrot X Labs'. Each batch of Wabbits had been put through ungodly Gamma-Ray experiments that had tortured and killed them. But ... this was not their end. The radioactive effects on these unfortunate creatures made them rise again as the monstrous undead, with each batch possessing their own bag of horrors to haunt all those they would come across." This is not his first project, as Far Q has released other animated collections on the Stacks blockchain. The History Behind Zombie Wabbits Zombie Wabbits #37 These were the first animated Bitcoin NFT's on the Stacks blockchain. As far as I can tell these may be the only strictly "horror" based NFT's I've come across. One of the smaller Bitcoin NFT collections, only 45 Zombie Wabbits exist. What Are the Rarity Attributes of This NFT Collection? There are five variants in this collection: Background – Several backgrounds with different textures and animation. The most common one is Deadly Black (44.44%) #25 with Tartan Toxic Background Codename – Every NFT in this set gets a unique codename starting with ZW.Character – This appears to be determined by the primary color of the rabbits for most of the animation. #33 Flash Blue Character “Not your keys, not your coins” has never been more true.
